The 2007 GMC Sierra hybrid half-ton pickup truck is two generations removed since its entry into the market in 2005. It has a power packed V-8, 5.3 liter Vortec engine that is paired with a hybrid propulsion system. Although it is a behemoth truck, the hybrid system allows for fuel conservation as it switches between the gas and hybrid systems. Its 18 MPG city and 21 highway, is much better than its gas engine large truck competitors.

New and Improved
”If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it,” is the credo for the 2007 GMC Sierra hybrid as it remains unchanged from the previous year’s version.

Standard Features
This work truck offers the basics and never tries to get fancy. But it does offer up standard features such as: a CD player, ABS, power doors and windows, and air conditioning.  The Sierra hybrid truck will not provide the frills that a luxury sports car will, but that is not why you buy it anyway.

Optional Features
Like most large trucks the 2007 GMC Sierra hybrid does not have any optional features that will bowl you over.  Leather seats are as extravagant as it gets, and in some trims power seats are standard.

Why We Like It
It is a vehicle that blends the traditional aspects of a large truck with the benefits of hybrid technology.  GMC would not offer up a hybrid large truck if established large truck owners were not going to get what they want from their vehicle. Therefore, you will not be disappointed by its workload capabilities along with hauling capacity.  Also, the V-8 gives you the power you need to execute your everyday large truck jobs.
